What happens on the first call?
We talk about your business — what you do, how you work, and what you're trying to accomplish. You'll hear an honest assessment of where we think we can help and what it would look like. No pitch, no pressure. If it's not a fit, we'll tell you.
Do I need to know anything about AI to get started?
No. We've worked with business owners who have never used AI tools before. Part of the engagement is making sure you and your team understand what you have and how to get the most out of it. You don't need a technology background — just a willingness to learn.
How long does an AI integration project take?
The Starter package can be up and running in a week or less. The Professional package typically takes two to three weeks from kickoff to handoff. Larger engagements are scoped individually.
Do I need a Claude subscription?
Yes — you'll need a Claude account to use your AI assistant. A Claude Pro subscription is $20/month, which is what most individual users need. Team accounts vary by user count. We'll help you get set up during the engagement.
What if my business is outside Kansas City?
Most of what we do works just as well remotely. AI integration and business consulting are done entirely over video call and email. Web development is always remote. If you're in the KC area and prefer to meet in person, that's available too.
Is there a contract or long-term commitment?
No contracts. Project engagements are agreed upon in writing before we start, with clear scope and pricing. The retainer consulting option is month-to-month with a 30-day cancellation notice. We don't hold anyone hostage.
